On our most recent order from Dell, they managed to send us the wrong computer. This computer arrived
instead of israel. The specifications are somewhat lower than
israel's in most areas, and so I did not want to settle for less, even with a
significant discount. As a result, we ended up purchasing two computers with a total discount nearing
$1,000 Canadian. This computer is for general family use & watching DVDs. It serves no specialized purpose.
Around the beginning of September 2001, I took israel's processor and RAM and put it into laura. Israel got an upgrade, and laura benefited :-) The original configuration was a P3-666 with 128 megs of RAM. |
